The economic climate is changing by the day and the financial turmoil has further raised the importance of risk management. Driven by demands of the profession, the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong (ASHK) will launch the 2nd Risk Management Regional Conference. The Conference will be held in the new and exciting City of Dreams in Macau at the brand new Grand Hyatt Hotel opened in October 2009. Covering a wide spectrum of financial services, the Conference will feature distinguished speakers from industries covering life and general insurance, retail and investment banking, fund management, reinsurance and others to address the theme for this year – “Post Financial Crisis: A New World?”.
Over 150 professionals from Hong Kong and the region are expected to participate in this event to discuss and debate issues on risk management and how it can provide a potential future for the actuarial profession.
