The Life Insurance Committee of the Singapore Actuarial Society is hosting its 4th Life Insurance Conference with the theme " Engage in the New Age – Be Part of the Change" on 17-18 August 2017. This exciting 2-day conference will be held in Singapore, with the aim of fostering knowledge sharing and interactions amongst actuaries and insurance professionals in the region.

It is hard to grasp new opportunities while holding onto old ways of thinking and behaving that may no longer be relevant in a fast-changing world. Is the life insurance industry too slow to change and heading for our very own Kodak Moment? Or are we up to mark to tap into the wave of change? In this world where technology, consumer mindsets, regulations, business and workplace environment are constantly changing, it is time to engage one another and discuss how we could learn from the old and embrace the new - a difficult but always an essential step in the change process.

Hear from the leaders of the most innovative life insurers in Singapore about how they engage technology to transform the landscape of the insurance industry in Singapore. With presentations from actuaries outside Singapore, you will get the opportunity to engage the ASEAN community and discover emerging markets. Engage the industry to be among the first to find out the latest products being developed with inspiration from abroad. Engage the regulator to keep up to date with the latest developments and what challenges they see for our accelerating industry.
