We’re excited to invite you to SAS AI Hackathon in collaboration with Resolve.
This hands-on hackathon is designed to give participants practical experience in leveraging AI tools to support actuarial work, from data input through to automated reporting.

Building an Actuarial Modelling & Reporting Solution with AI
Led by Brian Walsh, CEO of Resolve, this 3-hour interactive session will guide participants through constructing a simple end-to-end actuarial modelling and reporting solution using Claude Code, an AI-assisted coding tool. You’ll learn how to:
• Handle and prepare data inputs
• Implement modelling logic
• Generate automated outputs and commentary
What to expect:
This interactive hackathon provides the opportunity to experiment directly with AI tools and build a small actuarial modelling and reporting solution yourself, offering practical exposure to how AI can support actuarial work, from data handling to producing results and commentary. Participants will also have on-site support from Resolve’s development team for any technical or coding questions during the session..
Important Information:
• Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their personal laptops, as the coding environment runs entirely in the browser and requires no installation or setup.
