About Speakers and Influencers
SAS Speakers and Influencers is a platform for our members to improve communication skills, both in professional and social settings. During each session, there will be opportunities for you to speak. Friendly feedback will be given to help identify your strengths and areas to improve.

OVERVIEW
This short course is designed for competent speakers who wish to polish their skills when working with technology.
Technology has advanced rapidly over the past five to ten years, with the introduction of Webinar, Facetime, Skype, Google Hang-out, Oovoo, Tango, Viber etc.
Businesses now recognize the value of introducing new methods of communication that reduce cost, time, as well as their carbon footprint. However, too few businesses acknowledge the skills required to work with this new format. This course aims to teach participants the tools and techniques necessary to accommodate this change.
Session 1: LIVE Presentation Redefined
A rudimentary breakdown of the contrasting skills between live and live-streamed presentation.
Shared examples of good and bad Webinars, TedEx talks, Slide Shares etc.
Session 2: AMPLIFICATION
Amplifying voices over technology, alters delivery.
Participants will first listen, respond and affect their own voices focusing on clarity, stress and impact.
Session 3: LIVE-STREAM
Focusing on non-verbal communication and how to frame the best picture.
Participants will take time to consider their on-screen image and the subsequent impact its story tells.
Session 4: WEBINAR
Combining online presentation skills with voice over. Ensuring the two are balanced and corresponding.
Working how best to animate the voice, to compliment the visual images.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Claire Devine qualified from the prestigious Guildford School of Acting UK. in 1990.
Residing in Singapore for over twenty years, Claire has carved a named for herself in theatre, theatre education and as a specialist of corporate communication.
As a Corporate Trainer, Claire has worked with multiple organisations including The Law Society, Singapore Actuarial Society, TSMP Law Firm, Apple Sg, Crimson Logic, UBS and as key facilitator for the HEADSS-UP Training programme for KK Women and Children’s Hospital. A first-choice
facilitator where personal impact is a key requirement. Her workshops are filled with energy and insight.
