About Speakers and Influencers
SAS Speakers and Influencers is a platform for our members to improve their communication skills, both in professional and social settings. During each session, there will be opportunities for participants to speak. Participants will be given feedback to help identify their strengths and improvement areas.

1. Introduction to Voice Production
Creating an awareness of the necessity of good posture and defining the elements of clear speech.
2. Public Speaking
Skilled and valuable tips for developing the voice confidently for public speaking.
3. Knowing your Audience.
Focusing on the resonance, placement and tone of voice most effective for specific occasions such as a conference, tele-conferencing, interview. client meetings etc.
4. The Art of Persuasion/Negotiation
Learning to manipulate and affect the voice to demonstrate dominance when negotiating or persuading others to accept your point of view.
Notes about individual performances will be collated and passed to the participants once the course is over.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Claire Devine qualified from the prestigious Guildford School of Acting UK. in 1990. Residing in Singapore for over twenty years, Claire has carved a named for herself in theatre, theatre education and as a specialist of corporate communication. As a Corporate Trainer, Claire has worked with multiple organisations including The Law Society, Singapore Actuarial Society, TSMP Law Firm, Apple Sg, Crimson Logic, UBS and as key facilitator for the HEADSS-UP Training programme for KK Women and Children’s Hospital. A first-choice facilitator where personal impact is a key requirement. Her workshops are filled with energy and insight.
