Job Profile Summary:

• This role will focus on all reinsurance arrangements for the Company.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the preparation of Reinsurance analysis including cost of reinsurance, sum at risks statistics and retention level.
• Responsible for the timely signing and execution of reinsurance treaties backing all reinsurance arrangements.
• Providing support to other special projects where the partnership with reinsurers are involved.
• Comply with controls and standard operating procedures around reinsurance system setup, changes and enhancements.
• Responsible for the timely administration of reinsurance transactions and settlement.

(2) Actuarial - IFRS 17 Specialist

Location: Singapore

Job Profile Summary:

• As the member of the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 17 Program Office, you will participate in the local implementation of the standards for Prudential Singapore. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about financial reporting to participate in various workstreams within Actuarial.

Job Description:

• Review and provide feedback to the regional deliverables for solution design & build that affect Actuarial
• Act as actuarial advisor in local solution design & build
• Support the development of data and system specifications for IFRS17
• Support IT on source system enhancement based on the detailed data gap analysis
• Provide actuarial support to IT in building the end-to-end ETL tools
• Participate in UAT for ETL tools, source system changes and sub-ledger system
• Drive the development and implementation the new end-to-end reporting process and control for Actuarial
• Provide actuarial support to the Finance division initiative on reporting process re-engineering

(3) Actuarial Valuation - EEV

Location: Singapore

Job Profile Summary:

• This role is responsible for aspects of regular European Embedded Value (EEV) reporting, analysis and business forecasting of the Company.

Job Description:

• Report the EEV financials with associated Prophet model and actuarial assumptions in accordance with Group European Embedded Value Manual (GEM).
• Support forecast of financials for Business Planning, along with supporting analyses.
• Work collaboratively with Modelling team, Project team and Finance team for efficient reporting production.
• Produce other regional reports / data requests and liaise with regional counterparts and as required.
• Other special valuation projects by request, such as actuarial methodology development, reporting process enhancement, etc.

Who we are looking for:
Competencies & Personal Traits

• Good technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Reporting experience in Actuarial Valuation roles and management of KPIs such as NBP, operating experience variance and operating free surplus generation.
• Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively with the team to drive outcomes.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in Prophet ALS model, DCS and other data processing / programming language is an advantage.

Education:

(4) Actuarial Valuation - RBC

Location: Singapore

Job Profile Summary:

• This role will be responsible for business forecasting, cash flow projections and earnings analysis.

Job Description:

• Production of local statutory RBC reporting and regional reporting.
• Ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance on provision and local reporting compliance.
• Maintenance and development of Prophet models for valuation purpose
• Other special projects related to valuation
• Continues to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers

• Good working knowledge of Prophet systems, hands-on experience on actuarial valuation data processing and management
• Self-motivated and outcome oriented
• Good communication skills
