Actuarial Associate, Health Pricing and Portfolio Management | HSBC Life
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Support technical pricing, data analytics and portfolio management across the Group, Individual Health and Shield portfolios.
- Support product launches and system implementation.
- Own and maintain pricing tools, continuously enhancing their technical accuracy, robustness, and efficiency.
- Assist senior stakeholders in designing strategies to achieve business goals through data analytics.
- Assist in regular portfolio monitoring updates to senior management, including inflation studies, actual vs expected studies, understanding key profitability/loss drivers, and providing recommendations.
Requirements
To be successful you will need:
- University graduate in a relevant discipline, for example Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Economics.
- Proficiency in Prophet, VBA, and Excel Programming.
- Sharp communication skills.
- Engaging and open-minded working attitude with emphasis on being a good team player.
- Meticulous with a keen eye for detail for financial analysis.
