Over the decades, SAS has grown alongside the profession it represents. Milestones such as the adoption of a new Constitution in July 1996 and the Code of Professional Conduct in November 1997 marked important steps in strengthening professional standards and promoting the study of actuarial science in Singapore. A significant refresh of the Constitution took effect on 1 April 2022, reflecting the Society’s continued evolution to meet the needs of a modern profession.
Today, SAS aims to be the recognised representative body of the actuarial profession in Singapore, with the authority to set and uphold professional standards for its members.
SAS is a society registered with the Singapore Registry of Societies under UEN S76SS0051K.
