Data Analytics COmmittee

The Data Analytics Committee’s role is to raise awareness on analytics skills that will be in demand in the future and share knowledge on applications of analytical practices and data technologies among SAS members and practice committees.

What We Do

The Committee’s objectives and responsibilities

Objectives
  • Promote awareness and adoption of AI, data science, and
    advanced analytics within the insurance and actuarial
    landscape.
  • Equip SAS members with practical insights, best practices, and
    AI-enabled solutions through collaboration with other practice
    committees.
  • Engage universities and academic partners to inspire future
    talent and raise awareness of career opportunities in insurance,
    actuarial science, and emerging technologies.
  • Position the industry as a hub for innovation and professional
    growth.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the adoption of AI, data science, and analytics
    across the profession.
  • Collaborate with other SAS practice committees to share
    knowledge and best practices.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with universities and academic
    institutions to support outreach and talent development.
